R&D system

"Fundamental development" and "Product development" compose our Research & Development System.

1. Corporate R&D Divistion
Develop and utilize elemental technologies for introducing new products, while collaborating closely with groups in charge of exploring social needs and new business partners.
In addition, we have an analysis and analysis unit with advanced analytical instruments and the technology/know-how to utilize them, as well as a specialized unit that conducts CAE, and we have a system in place to support R&D activities across the Company.

2. Product development
The product development organization belonging to the division continuously improves the functions of the product groups linked to our mainstay products, such as Optical films product, liquid adhesives, adhesive films, electronic devices, and optical devices, and develops them for new development.


We hold "Technology Exchange Meetings" aimed at achieving sustainable growth and new value creation through collaboration between these two systems and technologies and engineers that transcend specialized fields.
Here, we aim to improve our overall technological capabilities by bringing together internal development results and new knowledge, and by having employees learn from each other and creating new ideas.

    By combining monomer, polymer, filler, etc., compounding technology consisting of material design power and know-how, many products in liquid, film, and sheet form are produced.

    Having wafer process technology and taking full advantage of the characteristics of compound semiconductors, the technology contributes to the development of high-speed, high-reliability photodetectors from optical communications to sensing applications.

    It contributes to development and commercialization by supporting problem solving using organic and inorganic analysis technology and simulation technology such as microstructure analysis technology, opticals, and fluids.
