Each Dexerials Group company (hereinafter called “Dexerials”) understands that customers entrust Dexerials with their Personal Information based on a trust that it will be used only for specific purposes. Dexerials safely stores such Personal Information, uses it while respecting customers’ intentions, and endeavors to handle and protect it appropriately by establishing the following policies regarding the handling of Personal Information.

In this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means information which can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth or other description contained in such information, or which includes an individual identification code. Information that is combined with other information and thereby identify a specific individual, is also treated as Personal Information, even if it alone cannot be used to make a positive identification.

Dexerials will comply with obligations under guidelines published by the Personal Information Protection Commission or other competent authorities in relation to laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information, including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, as well as this Privacy Policy in handling Personal Information.

Dexerials will obtain Personal Information through appropriate procedures, such as clarifying the purpose(s) of use, and will not use it for any purpose other than such purpose(s). Dexerials will, when obtaining Personal Information, endeavor to specify necessary information in advance, such as the item(s) of Personal Information to be handled, purpose(s) of use and inquiry desk(s), and obtain the consent of the individual who provides his/her Personal Information (hereinafter called the “individual”). Personal Information comprising special care-required personal information, such as a race or creed, will not be obtained without the consent of the individual, except for cases permitted under the related laws or regulations. In addition, if obtaining Personal Information from a third party, when legal obligation to confirm or to create records arises in relation to obtaining such information, Dexerials will comply with such obligation.

Dexerials will not provide or disclose Personal Information to any third party without obtaining the prior consent of the individual, except for cases permitted under the related laws or regulations. In addition, if providing Personal Information to a third party, when legal obligation to create records arises in relation to such provision, Dexerials will comply with such obligation.

Dexerials will take physical and technical security control countermeasures to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, leakage and others, and thereby manage Personal Information accurately and safely, under necessary and appropriate management systems.

Dexerials understands that customers are entitled to request the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion or suspension of use of Personal Information that they have entrusted, and upon receiving such request, will properly respond thereto in accordance with laws and regulations.

Dexerials may subcontract the handling of Personal Information, in whole or in part, to a third party within the scope of purpose(s) of use agreed by the individual. In this case, it will require that such third party safely manage the handling of Personal Information, and exercise necessary and adequate supervision thereto by such means as making contracts.

Dexerials will continuously endeavor to improve in-house compliance systems including appointing responsible officers for administration, updating this Privacy Policy through establishment of internal rules, education to directors, officers and employees, and appropriate internal audit to handle Personal Information properly. It will also endeavor to educate its subcontractors and other parties concerned about safe management for protecting Personal Information by exercising regular and proper supervision.
