The second and third characters of the lot number represent the year and month of manufacture. The second character represents the last digit of the year of manufacture, and the alphabetic letter following it represents the month of manufacture, where the letters A to M, except for I, refer to the 12 months in that order: A = January, B = February, . . . and M = December. The first and the fourth characters and thereafter constitute our internal control code. Details are found in the delivery specification, if you have one.
Example: Lot number A3A001 indicates that the product was manufactured in January XXX3.
