Dexerials Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Dexerials”) clarifies matters to be disclosed or to be put in a state where the subject individual can know pursuant to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”), and endeavors to handle and protect Personal Information acquired by it as follows. (The words and terms used in the following provisions have the same meanings as set forth in the Dexerials Group Privacy Policy.)

Dexerials may use Personal Information provided to it with the consent of the individual within the scope of the following purposes of use in connection with its business activities. It will not use it for any purpose other than such purposes of use without the consent of the individual.

• Provision of information on products and services
• Sales of products, provision of services (including the granting of technology licenses) and provision of after-sales services and other customer support
• Sending of information on, and operation of, products, services, exhibitions and various events
• Various inquiries about our products
• Creation of statistical data for future product development and marketing activities

《Business Partners’ Personal Information》

• Provision of information to and communication with their people in charge
• Business talks and meetings, and communication
• Management of access to the Company’s facilities

《Shareholders’ Personal Information》

• Exercise of rights and performance of obligations by shareholders or the Company based on the Companies Act
• Provision of services to shareholders
• Management of shareholders and shares, such as data creation based on laws and regulations

《Job Applicants’ and Retirees’ Personal Information》

• Provision of information to and communication with job applicants (including interns), and the execution of recruiting activities
• Analysis for the Company’s recruiting activities and use as statistical data
• Provision of information to and communication with retirees

Dexerials will not provide or disclose Personal Information to any third party without obtaining the prior consent of the individual, except for the following cases.

• If the individual has consented to such provision or disclosure
• If Personal Information is entrusted to any of the Company’s subcontractors within the scope of purpose(s) of use agreed by the individual
• If such provision or disclosure is based on laws and regulations
• If such provision or disclosure is necessary to protect human lives, bodies and assets, when it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
• If the business is succeeded due to a merger, company split, business transfer or other reasons

Dexerials may use provided Personal Information jointly with its group companies.

• Items of Personal Information to be jointly used：
  Name, company name, division name, job title, address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, product purchase history and inquiry details
• Scope of joint use：
  The Company’s group companies
• Purposes of joint use：
  The scope necessary for the purposes of use notified or announced by the Company upon acquisition according to Section (1) above and for the achievement of such purposes of use

Dexerials will accept a request for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion or suspension of use of Personal Information retained by the Company if an application form prescribed by the Company is filled out and sent by mail. Please download this application form and send it by mail. A copy of an identification document issued by a public organization has to be enclosed to enable careful identification. (This is not required for a request for notification of purposes of use.) Note that a fee is charged for requesting disclosure or the like, except for some cases.
