2026.07.29
Dexerials Corporation (Headquarters: Shimotsuke-shi, Tochigi, Japan; Representative Director and President: Yoshihisa Shinya; hereinafter “Dexerials”) announces that three of its products, namely Anisotropic Conductive Film (ACF), Anti-reflection film produced utilizing sputtering technology*1 (ARF), and Optical elastic resin (SVR), have each achieved the No. 1 global market share*2 for seven consecutive years*3, according to the market research report "Current Status and Future Outlook of Display-Related Markets 2026", published in July 2026 by Fuji Chimera Research Institute, Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan; CEO: Shiro Inaba)
Dexerials is a functional materials manufacturer specializing in the development, manufacture and sale of electronic components, bonding materials and optical materials. In the update of its Medium-Term Management Plan announced in May 2026*4, Dexerials outlined plans to accelerate its photonics business and is actively investing in production capacity to meet growing demand.
While strengthening its earnings base through these three products, which support global digital infrastructure including smartphones, notebook PCs, and automotive displays, Dexerials will continue leveraging its six core technologies*5 to accelerate the creation of new solutions for growth markets such as data centers, photonics, and automotive applications, where demand is expected to expand alongside the proliferation of AI technologies.
■ Three Technologies With Leading Global Market Shares
Anisotropic Conductive Film (ACF)
ACF is a film-type bonding material used in notebook PCs, automotive displays, and other electronic devices. Dexerials’ proprietary Particle-arrayed Anisotropic Conductive Film (ACF) , which precisely arranges conductive particles in predetermined positions, supports increasingly fine-pitch and high-density display connections and has become the de facto standard for flexible OLED displays used in smartphones.
As demand continues to grow with the expansion of high-performance electronic devices, Dexerials is scheduled to complete a new production area at its Kanuma Plant No. 2 (Kanuma-shi, Tochigi).
Anti-reflection film (ARF)
Dexerials manufactures anti-reflection films with exceptional anti-glare performance by controlling the thickness of anti-reflection layers at the nanometer level using its sputtering technology.
In the automotive market in particular, display sizes continue to increase, and Dexerials is also advancing product development to address the expanding foldable display market.
Optical elastic resin (SVR)
SVR is a liquid optical bonding resin used to laminate display components. It enhances display visibility while also offering ease of application during assembly.
Demand for SVR in automotive displays has grown significantly in recent years. Leveraging the Automotive Solution Laboratory (AS Lab)*6 located at its Headquarters and Tochigi Technology Center (Shimotsuke-shi, Tochigi), Dexerials continues to develop and propose solutions to customers worldwide.
Dexerials remains committed to contributing to a sustainable society by providing high-value-added products, technologies, and solutions that are essential to advancing digital technologies and addressing social challenges. Through these efforts, Dexerials aims to achieve sustainable growth while continuously enhancing corporate value.

■ Market Shares of Dexerials Products
1. Anisotropic Conductive Film (ACF)
ACF is an essential film-type bonding material used to mount electronic components such as IC chips onto substrates and form electrical circuits. Conductive particles are dispersed within a thermosetting resin. By applying heat and pressure, ACF simultaneously provides bonding, electrical conductivity, and insulation, enabling electrical connection between facing circuits while insulating adjacent circuits. The product is widely used for mounting display IC chips as well as camera and sensor modules.
Market category in this report: ACF (total ACFs for larger, medium and smaller sizes)
Our share of the global market: 79.4%

2. Anti-reflection film produced utilizing sputtering technology (ARF)
ARF is applied to the outermost surface of displays to suppress light reflection and improve visibility. The formation of anti-reflection layers using sputtering technology provides excellent durability and superior anti-reflection performance.
Dexerials employs a proprietary roll-to-roll manufacturing process, enabling the efficient production of high-quality film products. The product is widely used in notebook PCs and automotive displays.
Market category in this report: Surface Treatment Film (dry coat)
Our share of the global market: 95.4%

3. Optical elastic resin (SVR)
SVR is a liquid adhesive resin used to fill the air gap between the display top plate and LCD module or other display components. Because it has optical properties similar to glass, it minimizes both external light reflection and internal image-light diffusion, thereby improving display visibility. The product is widely used in smartphones, tablet PCs, and automotive displays.
Market category in this report: Optical clear resin (OCR)
Our share of the global market: 54.3%
