Dexerials Receives Highest Rating for First Time in CDP 2025 Supplier Engagement Assessment

Dexerials Corporation (Headquarters: Shimotsuke-shi, Tochigi; Representative Director and President: Yoshihisa Shinya; hereinafter “Dexerials”) has received an A rating, the highest rating in the CDP 2025 Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) conducted by CDP,*¹ an international nonprofit organization that runs a global environmental information disclosure system. As a result, Dexerials has been selected as a supplier engagement leader for the first time.*²
The SEA evaluates how effectively companies collaborate with their suppliers to address climate change issues based on responses in five areas: risk management processes, governance and business strategy, supplier engagement, Scope 3 emissions, and targets. CDP evaluates companies that respond to the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire and selects those whose initiatives are particularly outstanding as Supplier Engagement Leaders. The results of this assessment are a global recognition of the climate change initiatives Dexerials is implementing throughout its supply chains.
In addition, Dexerials received an A- rating in the climate change and water security fields of the CDP 2025 environmental assessment.
Guided by its purpose, “Empower Evolution. Connect People and Technology.”*³ Dexerials is pursuing business activities and environmental conservation initiatives aimed at reducing its environmental impact in accordance with its environmental policy. The Company has established medium‑ to long‑term targets for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and it is working to decrease emissions from its own operations. At the same time, it is enhancing its identification and management of emissions throughout its supply chains and using its procurement guidelines to facilitate actions to address climate change throughout its supply chains.
