Dexerials acquired the highest rating under the DBJ Environmental Rating Program

Dexerials Corporation (headquarters: Shinagawa, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Yoshihisa Shinya) acquired the highest rating under the Development Bank of Japan Inc. Environmental Rating Program run by the Development Bank of Japan Inc. (President and CEO: Hajime Watanabe; headquarters: Chiyoda, Tokyo; herein “DBJ”), which recognizes companies with excellent advanced environmental initiatives.
DBJ Environmentally Rated Loan Program is a world-first financial service that converts a company’s environmental management into a score and selects superior companies using a rating system developed by DBJ. Financial conditions are then set according to that score.
Dexerials was rated on the points listed below.

1．Planned implementation of our own manufacturing processes to reduce the burden on the environment, such as real-time monitoring and low-energy use improvements with a power measurement system that is linked to manufacturing equipment, in order to achieve our medium-to long-term environmental targets of reducing CO2 emissions by 50% compared to FY2013 by FY2030.

2．Efforts to formulate the Dexerials CSR Procurement Guidelines to survey vendors and spread initiatives that consider CSR across the board, such as human rights, labor, occupational health and safety, and the environment, to the supply chain and sustainable procurement.

3．Implementation of sustainability management, such as visualization of the reduction of CO2 for sales promotions and product development that corresponds to customer environmental needs, in order to increase both corporate and social value.
We will continue to reduce the burden on the environment and tackle CSR activities while offering products with high added value that leverage our proprietary technology to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society by resolving social issues.
